Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in the Manchester area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with students with Autism (ASC) and a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.



The Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons to small classes of students with SEND.
  • Adapt learning to meet individual needs and EHCP targets.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
  • Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
  • Passion for supporting students with additional needs.


Essential Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide professional references covering the last two years.
